Pep Guardiola’s side head into the weekend five points shy of Arsenal’s points tally at the top of the table, and with the Gunners not playing until Sunday, the Citizens can pile the pressure on the north London side with a win at Selhurst Park.

The reigning champions are in good form heading into Saturday’s match in south London having won their last three matches, and are unbeaten in seven.

Crystal Palace have had it slightly tougher in recent weeks and in fact haven’t won a match in any competition since the turn of the year.

It has been 10 matches since Patrick Vieira’s side last won, which has dragged the Eagles back into the relegation battle, as they now sit just five points above the relegation zone, in an incredibly tightly congested bottom half where the bottom nine teams are separated by just six points.

Despite the Eagles having lost only one of the last three games against Manchester City, they’ve also won only one of the last eight, losing five in that time.
